【Application Scenarios】
1. Suitable cargo types
(1) Food grade liquids: such as edible alcohol, fruit glucose syrup, etc
(2) Common chemicals: such as transformer oil, caprolactam, etc
(3) Dangerous liquids: such as acetonitrile, dimethyl carbonate, etc. (must comply with dangerous goods transportation regulations)
(4) Gas/Powder: Inert gases, refrigerants, and powdered chemicals
2. Industry field
(1) Chemical, food, pharmaceutical, energy and other industries are particularly suitable for cross-border multimodal transport and high-value liquid transportation
【Operating Procedures and Standards】
1. Preparation before transportation
(1) Can rental and inspection: The can container is provided by the can owner and needs to be checked for sealing, cleanliness, and equipment functionality (such as heating devices);
(2) Booking declaration: MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), container certificate (including container number, volume, maximum load capacity, etc.), and dangerous goods declaration materials need to be submitted.
2. Filling and transportation
(1) Filling operation: Use a single trailer truck for transportation at a dedicated gate, and control the flow rate and avoid contamination during filling;
(2) Weight limit: The maximum load capacity of a 20 foot container is usually 20-26 tons (adjusted according to the density of the cargo), and it is necessary to strictly follow the maximum load capacity indicated on the tank body;
(3) Transportation mode: Priority should be given to using dedicated tank trucks or container ships with leak proof designs to avoid mixing with acids and flammable materials.
3. Loading and unloading and emergency response
(1) Unloading specifications: Operate through the bottom unloading valve and use inert gas protection or pressure relief devices to prevent splashing;
(2) Leakage treatment: Immediately cover with sand or inert adsorbent material, do not rinse with water, and transfer to a dedicated waste liquid pool for neutralization.
【Core advantages】
1. Economy
Compared to barrel transportation, a 20 foot container can hold 45% more liquid, reducing unit logistics and packaging costs.
2. Security
The enclosed design reduces the risk of leakage, and the inert gas protection system can prevent flammable and explosive accidents from occurring.
3. Environmental friendliness
To avoid packaging waste pollution from traditional barrel transportation and comply with European and American environmental regulations.
【Precautions and Compliance Requirements】
1. Operational risk
(1) Overloading or mixing incompatible goods (such as acidic and alkaline substances) is prohibited;
(2) When transporting by a long truck, the tank container should be fixed on the side or middle position of the cab to prevent the center of gravity from shifting and causing tipping.
2. Compliance Identification
(1) The UN number (such as UN1823), hazardous material identification, and operation warning should be clearly marked on the outside of the tank;
(2) Regularly conduct pressure testing and coating maintenance to ensure compliance with IMO (International Maritime Organization) standards.
